Under Puget Sound

Does it get any better than great food and extraordinary beauty? We begin the day with an early lunch at a culinary restaurant before heading to Chihuly Garden and Glass, located in the shadow of the Seattle Space Needle. This remarkable museum showcases fine art sculptures and glass works by Tacoma native Dale Chihuly.
The indoor galleries and outdoor gardens feature significant pieces displayed with abundant natural light, offering guests a different perspective with every visit. At the heart of the museum stands a stunning 40-foot-high glass and steel structure, home to one of the largest Chihuly installations in the world. Suspended overhead is a breathtaking 100-foot-long sculpture composed of cascading glass in brilliant shades of red, orange, yellow, and amber.
The collection includes a mix of new and previously exhibited works, thoughtfully installed in galleries designed by Dale Chihuly himself. We’ll also take time to see a very special and iconic building in Seattle before heading home.
