March 14
Phoenix & the Hopi Reservation
A Freedom Tours NW motorcoach will whisk you to the airport for your flight to Phoenix.
A different Freedom Tours bus is waiting for you to start this "dream vacation."
After lunch (no host), we head to the Hopi Reservation for a two-night stay.
March 15
Hopi Culture & Traditions
Today is all about the Hopi Indian Tribe as we learn about their culture and way of life.
A Hopi guide will lead us through the day, which includes lunch and a bottle of water.
Hopi guides provide required access to traditional villages, ancient petroglyphs, and local artisan home workshops across the three Hopi mesas.
March 16
Navajo Nation & Monument Valley
After breakfast, we say goodbye to the Hopi and head to the Navajo Nation and Monument Valley.
The scenery becomes very spectacular as the mesas and sandstone formations appear.
We will stop at the Monument Valley Visitor Center.
We have another two-night stay in the area.
March 17
Monument Valley Backcountry Adventure
Be ready for one of those "monumental dream" days.
We will be guided by a Navajo guide as we ride 4x4 jeeps into the backcountry of Monument Valley this morning!
Large motorcoaches cannot travel the entire Monument Valley loop, so the smaller Navajo-guided vehicles are an important part of the experience.
After lunch, we board our motorcoach for some more viewing opportunities.
We look not only at the spectacular scenery, but also hope to find a shopping area or two for Native jewelry, weaving, and more.
We head to our hotel for the night.
March 18
Southern Utah & Bryce Canyon
After breakfast, we leave Monument Valley and travel into southern Utah and Bryce Canyon.
Freedom Tours NW will host dinner tonight.
We have a two-night stay here also.
March 19
Magical Bryce Canyon
After breakfast, we are off to see beautiful, magical Bryce Canyon , aboard our comfortable motorcoach.
As we make our way toward the canyon, watch the scenery change before your eyes as we climb into the spectacular high country of southern Utah.
Bryce Canyon is unlike anywhere else in the world.
Here, nature has created a magnificent landscape of towering hoodoos, tall, slender spires of colorful rock , carved over millions of years by wind, water, ice, and time.
Today, you won't have to worry about driving or parking.
Simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the views as Freedom Tours NW takes you into one of the most extraordinary landscapes in the American Southwest.
Get your cameras ready, Bryce Canyon is waiting for us!
March 20
Zion National Park
After breakfast, we make our way to Zion National Park.
The ride there includes some very interesting views of the land as it changes.
Upon arrival in Springdale, you have several options, including using the shuttle provided to see the park, shopping, and fitting in some lunch and dinner in town.
March 21
Journey North to Twin Falls
Have breakfast and then bring your bags to the bus as we head north.
Today is a big travel day as we make our way to Twin Falls, Idaho.
March 22
Boise & a Basque Experience
After breakfast, we depart at 8:00 AM and head to Boise, where we will have a very unusual experience as we learn about the Basque people.
After lunch, we continue on to Baker City for another interesting activity and the night.
March 23
Journey Home
After a "Monumental Dream Vacation" where we laughed, learned, and took hundreds of pictures, we now head for home.
